Continental was built in Brisbane’s inner north, and this community remains at the heart of our business. It is where we work, where many of our team live and where we have built lasting relationships with the households we serve.

We believe a local business should contribute and be connected to the community around it. For Continental, that means finding practical ways to help through the services we provide, the organizations we support and the local initiatives we get behind.

Charity drop-offs

Finding time to take unwanted clothing and household items to charity can be surprisingly difficult and often results in bags sitting in the garage, or car boot for months! That is why Routine Upkeep clients can leave suitable donations for our team to collect and deliver to a local charity store on their behalf.

It is a small extension of our service, but one that helps useful items find a new home while taking another job off our clients’ lists.

Supporting local schools

Continental is proud to support the Newmarket State School P&C and the work it does for local students, families and the broader school community.

Strong schools sit at the centre of strong neighbourhoods, and we are pleased to contribute to the fundraising and community efforts that help them thrive.

Getting behind local clubs

We also support fundraising initiatives for local sports clubs like the Wilston Grange Gorillas. Local sporting clubs bring people together, create opportunities for young people and contribute enormously to the character of our neighbourhoods.

Supporting these organisations when we can is one way we can reinvest in the community that continues to support us.

Keeping our contribution close to home

As Continental grows, we want our contribution to grow with it. We will continue looking for useful, practical ways to support the people, schools, clubs and community organisations of Brisbane’s inner north. At the moment we only support initiatives brought to us through existing clients but we hope to grow big enough to take applications from the general public in good time.
